Jesuit Communications is organizing ALAB NG PUSO: HIGH ON LOVE, a concert that aims to awaken the EDSA spirit amongst us—the spirit of love for the Filipino nation, the spirit of truth and decency, the spirit of freedom and democracy. The proceeds of the concert will be donated to De La Salle University’s Project Paghilom, which provides assistance to thousands of families affected by the war on drugs.
Project Paghilom currently helps 262 families through education and livelihood programs. The education program provides scholarships, funds for school supplies, a modest monthly stipend, and assistance with tuition fees. The livelihood interventions revolve around capacity-building. Attendees are given transportation allowance and living allowance to make up for the wages they were not able to make to attend the workshop/s. Food and the necessary materials or equipment are likewise provided.
