Followers of Jesuit Communication’s long-running Sunday scripture reflection and catechism program “The Word Exposed” will gather for the show’s annual recollection, dubbed “We Have Seen the Lord,” with Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle on Sunday, April 8 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The free recollection is set for 8AM to 12NN.
The now ten-year-old weekly program is seen locally on ABS-CBN Studio 23, ANC, and TV Maria. It is seen in North America, and soon in Australia, on the international cable channels Salt and Light, iCatholicTV, Shalom TV, and Telecare. The weekly episodes are accessible on social media as well, via Cardinal Tagle’s and Jesuit Communications’ YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.
“The Word Exposed” recollections are normally held twice a year, during the Easter and Advent seasons. For this weekend’s recollection, the theme is “Seeing Signs of Life in our Times,” which for JesCom executive director Fr. Nono Alfonso, SJ is apt for Easter in the Philippines, given the issues facing the country today.
Gates open at 6AM at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday for the “We Have Seen the Lord” Easter recollection. Walk-ins are welcome!
