Using Media For Evangelization

A short talk on how different forms of media can be used to evangelize, with focus on mainstream radio and television, as well as new media. The workshop aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge in using available media tools and how they can maximize various JesCom products to teach Christian values to students.

Ms. Pol Mangilog-Saltarin is the Creative Director of Jesuit Communications (JesCom) Foundation. She directed JesCom’s award-winning TV Specials “Mga Kwento ng Peregrino” (2009) and “Habilin: Ang Pitong Huling Wika ni Hesus” (2008). Both won the Catholic Mass Media Awards for Best TV Special. She was also the Headwriter of ABS-CBN Foundation’s “Sineskwela” and a Producer for Probe Productions' “5&UP”.

The talk will be held at the 31st Manila International Book Fair, at Meeting Room 4, SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex. The seminar fee is Php 50.00.
