Tinapay ng Buhay: Simbahan at Kahirapan (Bread of Life: Church and Poverty) analyzes the problem of poverty that continues to ail our country and frustrate our Church. Hosted by Noel Cabangon, the film poses the question of poverty in the light of Church teaching and action, and seeks to shed some light on this seemingly insoluble problem. Featuring interviews with Bishop Soc Villegas, Bishop Chito Tagle, Fr. Robert Rivera, SJ, and other religious and laity representing various efforts aimed at addressing the problem, Tinapay ng Buhay offers a unique opportunity to discuss and reflect on the response of the Church to poverty in society.
